The former Search Engine Watch news editor and current ResourceShelf editor, Gary Price will be the Director of Information Resources at Ask Jeeves. As the Director of Information Resources, Price is to lead outreach efforts within the library and education communities and will play an advisory role in the development of new search products for Ask Jeeves.

In his ResourceShelf statement Price further describes his outreach and product development duties. Those interested in the fate of ResourcShelf and DocuTicker will be happy to know that those two services will continue and serve as an independent voice.
