MLA 2008: Evaluation

If you attended the 2008 annual meeting in Chicago, you should be getting an email with a link to a survey looking for feedback about the meeting. Please remember to fill your survey out, it takes about 10 minutes to complete and it is very important to help make future meetings more responsive to member's needs.

I filled mine out, it was quick and easy. No secret, I voted for St. Louis, MO to be one of the host cities. Cross my fingers. :)

For anyone lacking a second choice after St. Louis, consider selecting Nashville - for my purely selfish reasons! :)

Well St. Louis has come a long way, as I can attest (since it is my home town :-)

If they have it here, I am sure it wouldn't be for another few years and there a lot of nice projects that are being planned for this area in the next 3 years.

Thanks for thinking about us :-)

Hi Brian,
It is my home town too. I only left when I got my library job in Cleveland. I am really a St. Louisian masquerading as a Clevelander.

Hopefully if/when it does get picked, St. Louis will be able to finish up the HWY 40 mess/construction. ;)

I love St Louis (grew up about 60 miles from there, in IL), and have suggested it annually FOREVER!!! Maybe we can reach some sort of critical mass with suggestions this year...

don't know how old this post and the comments are but I'm a st. louis native too and I can NOT believe MLA hasn't been there yet. Please let's start a groundswell. Hwy 40 will be irrelevant for those flying in or driving in from north south and east!
