Have you tried the beta version of Advanced Search in PubMed? NLM has introduced many new features to PubMed in recent weeks!" The Pacific Northwest Regional Medical Library news briefly describes PubMed's new automatic term mapping. The automatic term mapping now searching your term in All Fields which usually results in more retrieved citations. Of course this might also mean you will retreive more false hits as well.
